May the 4th kicked off the 2013 season of car shows near our home. The First and Main Town Center does a car show every first Saturday. Today’s show was hosted by the Mustang Club. I am a sucker for old Mustangs, I love those cars. I walked around and got some decent shots.

Red Sunrise
It was an absolutely gorgeous sunrise this morning.
Sports Authority Field
I went to a Dell Event last night at Sports Authority Field, the home of the Denver Broncos. I got to take a quick tour, and of course dragged along my 8-16mm lens. We saw the club level suites, the TV trucks getting ready for Sunday night’s game, thunder’s game day stall, we went on the field, the visiting locker room, and last but not least-the room where they keep the beer. The trivia for the day, 26 kegs just to charge the lines in the stadium!
Beaver Pond at Night
On the way home from seeing the Williamson’s at Cheyenne Mountain State Park, we stopped by the beaver pond. Across the creek from the pond is the Colorado College field. They had the lights on tonight, and the trees around the pond still had leaves. It was like the largest light painting ever.
Fall Color and some Mule Deer
Tomorrow, well tonight actually, our 80 degree days will be gone and it is going to be a balmy 40 degrees with a chance of snow. The leaves were looking good, and the deer were looking happy.

Between the drought, this weeks storms, and us being up there a little late, the color was not as good as past years. I mixed in a couple of HDR shots.
