Friday night we went and saw CC vs WMU. Laurie, Bruna, Taylor and Taylor’s buddy Seth took the tickets and I shot from my favorite places. The game was good, the Broncos won in a shootout!
The Sled team is in town preparing for the Paralympics. Yesterday the Colorado College Tigers gave sled hockey a try and the boys had a little scrimmage. It was fun to watch, the CC guys arms were pretty tired towards the end.
The Tigers did not fair to well last night, it was a 7-2 loss. Providence is too a good a hockey team to spend as much time as they did last night on the power play. And as most games go when the score gets out of hand, it got a little “chippy” towards the end.
The city has put up a rink downtown in Acacia Park. I took the girls down there today to give it a try. Bruna has skated on inline skates, and she took to ice skates like a duck to water.
Air Force won the inaugural Pikes Peak trophy last night by beating Colorado College 3-1.
And here are some more pictures from friday night’s game.
