he was back at the pond today, no shots of him getting his dinner. But I did have a local redneck, walking his pit bull stop and talk to me. he seemed to think this was a “lesser blue heron” (there is a “blue heron” but it looks nothing like this guy). He also told me he let a white Koi with an orange spot go in the pond earlier that week. I told him I saw the Heron eat a koi that looked just like that on friday.
