Sunny day Hummingbirds
These two were at starsmore. She was on the feeder first, and then got run off by the villainous male in red. My favorite is her peaking around the corner when she heard him coming.

Had lunch today with my buddy Eddie and his “other” girlfriend Christine. Christine is the one in red.

when you get a close look at a moth like this, you fully understand why the Japanese pitted it against godzilla. as an experiment, the first few of these were shot with the flash at 1/250th of a second. I was going for frozen body, blurred wings. I think this is a white lined sphinx moth.
the not so much of a snow storm snow storm
Anyone who knows Colorado Springs knows that we can be hit or miss when they call for snow. Depending upon your part of town, you got 2″ or you got 14″ with the latest storm. North Cheyenne Canyon got some.
Moonset on Pikes Peak
This morning I caught the full moon as it set. Pikes Peak was the usual sunrise pink, so the colors looked great.
Friday Night Fireworks @ the Sky Sox
took in a ball game tonight. I ducked out right before the end of the game and shot these from the backside of the stadium.
