May the 4th kicked off the 2013 season of car shows near our home. The First and Main Town Center does a car show every first Saturday. Today’s show was hosted by the Mustang Club. I am a sucker for old Mustangs, I love those cars. I walked around and got some decent shots.
I recently ordered a t-shirt from Dress United. Dress United is a great site for ordering custom shirts and other items and they are a sister site to printcopia.com. The design portion was great, very easy to use. Check out the images below, it shows the front side design portion, and the back side design portion. As you can see, I used my very cool logo for bigmanwithacamera.com. I did mess up the design portion a bit, on the front I should have put the text into two lines, and made it a bit bigger. That’s not the sites fault, it was strictly a design mistake. The back looks awesome. The quality of the t-shirt is great. It’s a nice hanes cotton. I am a big guy (duh!), the hanes 3x is not a very big 3x. Trust me, I have a bunch of 3x t-shirts! it fits fine across the chest and belly, it is just not very long. So, when a big guy like me puts the shirt on and reaches for the sky, I might flash a little skin if you know what I mean! In short (hey, a pun!), the site is great. It’s super easy to make the design, and it’s also quite fun. I would highly recommend it. If you check them out, I have a coupon code for 30% off. Go to www.dressunited.com/redeem and type in the code BLOG30OFF4U. This code will give you 30% off and free shipping in the US. If you order a shirt, drop me a comment and let me know what you think.
Printcopia is a having a great special on 16×20 canvas wrapped prints. http://view.email.printcopia.com/?j=fe5e1672766d07757015&m=fe60157071610d7f7c15&ls=fdfc11707d62017975177475&l=fe9715747466027973&s=fe1c1d737663077b7c1077&jb=ffcf14&ju=fe1f1678706d04747c1674&r=0
I have an 8×10 from printcopia and I love it. I also did some checking, and this price is 5 bucks less than Costco.
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
19,000 people fit into the new Barclays Center to see Jay-Z perform. This blog was viewed about 65,000 times in 2012. If it were a concert at the Barclays Center, it would take about 3 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
I volunteered to work the photo booth at New Years Eve at Noon. This event is a fundraiser for the Pikes Peak Children’s Museum. They had an awesome turnout this year, 1200+. The photo booth was a heck of a lot of fun. All the images will go up on the Pikes Peak Children’s museums facebook page. Here are a few of my favorites.
I wanted to take a moment and thank you all for stopping by my site. At some point yesterday the counter rolled over 100000 views. I have been doing this site for a little over two years now, and I never thought I would get that many views in this amount of time. So again, thank you all so very much for taking the time out of your day to come by here and take a look at my work. It really does mean a hell of a lot to me.

I went to a Dell Event last night at Sports Authority Field, the home of the Denver Broncos. I got to take a quick tour, and of course dragged along my 8-16mm lens. We saw the club level suites, the TV trucks getting ready for Sunday night’s game, thunder’s game day stall, we went on the field, the visiting locker room, and last but not least-the room where they keep the beer. The trivia for the day, 26 kegs just to charge the lines in the stadium!
I shot The National Solo Dance Championship for US Figure Skating this weekend. Here are some shot of the girls enjoying themselves at the after party on the ice.
Last week for LTPO we headed to the skate park. Here are my images that did not make the cut for the facebook page.
